Intern AMHS

Join the AMHS (Automated Material Handling System) department and contribute to the next generation of Brooks Loader control systems. Building on a newly developed hardware platform and controller boards you will analyze the existing control system and help replicate its full functionality on the new platform.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand the functionality of the legacy Brooks Loader control system.
• Replicate operational behaviors motion sequences and status handling on the new controller platform.
• Support the implementation of diagnostics and error logging capabilities.
• Test validate and document system behavior to ensure functional equivalence.
• Collaborate with engineers and previous internship teams to support a smooth system migration.

Your Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Embedded Systems Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of embedded software development and/or control systems.
• Experience with programming languages such as C C or Python is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on proactive mindset with an eagerness to learn.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Interest in industrial automation robotics and high-tech systems.
