Together with 400 colleagues representing more than 45 nationalities we are building Europes best fast-charging network fast-charging stations in prime locations where electric drivers charge their vehicles with energy from the sun and wind. Context of the assignment
As our Proposition Lead will be going on maternity leave we are looking for an interim replacement to continue and further develop our market-leading propositions ensuring our commercial team remains equipped to drive success.
Start date: Ideally mid-august 2026 with a 2 months handover period alongside the current Proposition Lead
Duration: 6 months.
Commitment: Minimum 32 hours/week.
Location: Amsterdam (close to Amstel station) minimum 3 days per week on-site.
What youll do
As Interim Propositions Lead you will ensure Fastned has commercial offers with a great product-market fit and enable the commercial teams with off the shelf propositions that they can bring to the market. The team sits in between strategy and sales translating strategic direction market insights and sales feedback into commercial propositions. The team specifically owns proposition development (incl. realising first sales deal of a new proposition) managing the proposition menu and sales enablement. You will collaborate with Marketing and the other department within our Growth Team including Commercial Strategy Partnerships & Sales - to unlock new business opportunities. On top of that you will work closely with Operations Product and Finance to realise the new propositions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the team: Manage 1 FTE providing structure coaching and clear KPIs. Youll foster a culture of collaboration accountability and performance ensuring the team has the tools and confidence to succeed.
Sales Processes & Sales Enablement: Support the Sales team that is currently rapidly scaling to ensure they have the optimal tools and processes available to them. This includes process optimisation liaising with Marketing to deliver on leads generation liaising with Finance to optimise invoicing flows and purchasing relevant SaaS tooling - or developing tools internally with the Product team.
Proposition development: Design new propositions and/or improve existing propositions for customer groups/opportunities identified by Sales or Strategy. This results in a portfolio of 3 categories: 1) New propositions that need to be developed 2) propositions that are under development 3) existing propositions that require improvement. Developing a new proposition will require managing the full cycle from initial discovery together with potential partners sizing the opportunity assessing operational impact delivering the first deal (in partnership with a sales manager) evaluating the deal and when successful automating the process and developing a toolkit for sales to deliver the sales on new proposition.
Proposition menu management: Develop a simple and scalable proposition menu that defines what Sales can sell. The proposition team will act as gate keeper to limit the variety of sales deals and manage the operational impact on the wider Fastned organisation. This includes giving advice to the Director of Growth on when to accept a deviation of the menu for exceptional opportunities. The Proposition Lead will be in close contact with internal stakeholders such as Finance to monitor operational feasibility of the propositions and when possible improve propositions.
Stakeholder engagement: Provide regular transparent updates to (senior) leadership and the Board on progress key decisions and commercial performance. Ensure that the change roadmap is aligned with company goals and key stakeholders are on-board with it.
Who were looking for
A passionate hands-on lead with a commercial drive great collaboration skills with a strong implementation drive and great stakeholder management skills. You thrive equally in working with data scouting commercial opportunities and closing deals as well as being hands-on engaged with internal stakeholders to identify improvements. Ideally you bring prior experience in what a mature high performing sales organisation needs and have been involved in product development.

Youll bring:
5 years professional experience;
Extensive project management experience with a track record for managing internal change processes and delivering operational improvements;
Management experience leading a small team before;
Pre: Commercial product manager background or having worked with product teams as project lead (not being a product manager in the sense of managing devs);
Experience in leading commercial processes preferably with extensive experience with in a mature sales organisation or close to sales teams;
Comfortable in qualitative and quantitative analytics;
Experienced collaborator working effectively with marketing product and executive teams;
Strong communicator and relationship builder skilled at influencing diverse stakeholders;
Genuine passion for sustainability and the transition to electric mobility.
