This Is What Your Role Looks Like
As Interim Manager FinancialControlyoullbeleadingour Financial Control team(16 FTE)a talented international group of quick-thinking financial professionals who generate high-quality reports while working closely with the business.You work from ourinternationalHQ in Hoofddorp andhave full responsibility for the output of the Financial Control team. You will have 3 direct reports and you will report directly to the Finance Director.
Following Basic-Fits recent auditor rotation after 10 years the upcoming external audit will be a critical this role you will take clear ownership of leading the audit process from the Financial Control side: coordinating the team acting as the main counterpart for the auditors ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of audit requests and proactively managing risks to support a smooth audit with no major findings.
You focus onfurther shaping the Financial Control team as a lean and efficient team by ensuring continued standardization and optimization of processes.Meanwhileyou make sure that our monthly figures are in top shape and ready for audit.
YourResponsibilities
Lead a team of 16 FTE with 3 direct reports.
Take ownership of our monthly reporting figures making sure they are delivered completecorrectand within the established closing deadlines.
Ensure that processes and activities that are run by the team are further standardized and automated.
Take core responsibility for leading the external audit process acting as the main counterpart for theauditorsand ensuringtimely high-quality delivery of all audit requests.
Sign off on reconciliations and lead schedules for balancesheetand P&L accounts.
Take part in company-wide projects andensurecorrect and efficientimplementation offinancial processes for innovations and new business models.
Analyze business processes signal risks and implement process improvements.
Proactively pursue business issues thatimpactthe general ledger and evaluate acceptable solutions.
Take ownership of partof the Internal Control Frameworkrelated to the Financial Control processes.

Additionallywerelooking for someone with:
A Bachelors orMasters degree in Finance ideally supplemented by a postgraduate RA/RC qualification or equivalent.
Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar complex high-volume IFRS accounting environment
Proventrack recordinmanaging and developing Financial Control teams
Proven experience leading the external audit process for a listed company acting as the primarycontactand drivingtimelydelivery across the organization.
Fluent in English Dutch is a plus.
Ability to interact with all departments and levels across the organization.
Experience withSAP S4/HANAPublic Cloud and/orLucaNetis a plus.
