Position Overview:

As our HR Generalist you will be part of the EMEA HR Team and will support day-to-day payroll and HR operations for Navico Group EMEA BV. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for the Netherlands and UK entities while also providing broad HR generalist support including basic recruitment activities.

The position requires a high level of confidentiality strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach when working with internal stakeholders and external providers.

This exciting position offers an annual base salary range between 49.500 to 62.250 (payable in 1296 instalments). The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors including skills experience and location.

This salary will be pro-rated based on any part-time working agreement.

This position is eligible for participation in discretionary bonus plan in accordance with company policies.

Essential Functions:

Payroll Responsibilities

  • Support the collection verification and preparation of payroll data for the Netherlands and UK including absences overtime and sick leave.
  • Assist in the preparation review and validation of monthly payroll data and payslips.
  • Act as a liaison with external payroll providers labor consultants and vendors to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records within HR and payroll systems.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee payroll-related queries escalating complex issues when required.
  • Support monthly quarterly and year-end payroll-related administrative and reporting activities.

HR Generalist Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle (onboarding contract management employee changes offboarding).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Support HR processes policies and internal communications.
  • Collaborate closely with HR colleagues across EMEA and UK stakeholders where applicable.

Recruitment Support

  • Support basic recruitment activities including job posting coordination CV screening and interview scheduling.
  • Assist hiring managers and HR colleagues with early-stage recruitment processes.
  • Support recruitment administration and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management Business Administration Law or a related field.
  • High level of integrity discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and payroll data.
  • Fluent English both written and spoken.
  • Strong attention to detail accuracy and reliability.
  • Good working knowledge of standard IT tools particularly Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Motivation to develop professionally in payroll and HR generalist responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of Dutch and/or UK labour law.
  • Previous experience (including internships or traineeships) in payroll HR administration or personnel administration.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes in the Netherlands and/or UK.
  • Experience working with payroll software or HRIS systems.
  • Interest in recruitment and broader HR operations.
