As a HR Officer you are a key member of the HR team and take ownership of the day-to-day HR operations. This is a broad hands-on role for an experienced HR professional who is proactive highly organized accurate and able to work independently in a dynamic international environment.

Based at our Head Office in Papendrecht you support the Global HR Manager and the HR Manager Africa/Europe. Your scope includes the global organization the international HQ population (approximately 65 employees) expatriates working worldwide and providing support to HR colleagues in our regional offices.

You are hands-on responsible for ensuring that HR administration payroll preparation employee benefits administration and HR processes are executed accurately efficiently and in compliance with company policies and employment addition you act as a trusted point of contact for employees managers and external service providers and play an important role in maintaining and improving HR processes systems and data quality across the organization.

With your strong attention to detail ownership mindset and structured approach you ensure that HR operations run smoothly while continuously looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.

Your responsibilities
As a HR Officer you will:

• Take ownership of HR administration and personnel processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll preparation employee benefits administration and personnel data management.
• Coordinate and support recruitment onboarding training administration and other global HR processes.
• Maintain HR systems reporting and documentation ensuring data quality and compliance with internal policies and employment regulations.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for employees managers HR colleagues and external service providers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes systems and service delivery.

What you bring
You are an experienced HR Officer who enjoys taking ownership works in a structured and accurate manner and has the confidence to operate independently in an international environment. You are someone who sees what needs to be done follows through and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

You also have

• HBO working and thinking level preferably in HR Business Administration or a related field. Candidates with an MBO qualification and extensive relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
• 5-8 years of experience in a broad HR Officer HR Administrator or HR Generalist role.
• Experience with HR and payroll systems (preferably ADP Perman AFAS and/or Workday).
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience in a multinational high pace and dynamic environment.
• Fluency in Dutch and a strong command of English both written and spoken.
• A proactive hands-on structured and service-oriented mindset.

Nice to have

• Good command of French (written and spoken) is considered an advantage.

Extra information

• Your team: You will work closely together with a HR Manager and will report directly to the Manager HR.
• Where you will work: Your location will be our office in Papendrecht and you have the option to work from home 2 days per week. Fixed office days are Tuesday and Thursday.
• Full/part-time job: The position of HR Officer is a full-time job (35 hours a week).
