About the Organization Unit & Team
This organization is a leading European grid operator and plays a key role in the energy transition managing over 23500 kilometers of high-voltage connections and employing nearly 5000 people to ensure a safe and reliable power supply in the Netherlands and large parts of Germany.
The HR Advisor will work within the Human Resources unit. The teams aim is to help the organization meet the challenges of the future and advance the energy transition by devising new ways to leverage and develop the talent of current employees and by seeking new talent needed for continued adaptation and growth.
Within the People unit the HR Advisor will work alongside several other HR Advisors. Together they support the HR Business Partners and advise various departments across the organization on operational and tactical HR matters. The work of this team directly contributes to realizing the organizations growth objectives and supporting the energy transition.

The Role
The HR Advisor contributes to keeping the Netherlands running by supporting and advising managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters. The organization is growing rapidly to realize its strategic ambitions and plays a leading role in driving the energy transition. The HR Advisor will be assigned responsibility for several departments and will serve as an important sparring partner for team leaders.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting managers and employees with individual advisory questions on HR-related topics
- Proactively advising team leaders on the application and interpretation of HR policy such as performance management rewards & benefits sick leave and development
- Coordinating the administrative and system-related handling of the implementation of organizational changes and reorganizations
- Case management related to illness/absence including an advisory role toward team leaders during the first six weeks of sick leave
- Acting as a project member for HR improvement initiatives such as harmonizing and improving processes system implementations and fulfilling a key-user role for SharePoint
- Working closely with HR Business Partners managers employees and other relevant stakeholders across the organization
Requirements
- A completed bachelors degree preferably in HRM Business Administration or a comparable field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an HR Consultant or HR Advisory role
- Experience advising managers and employees on HR-related matters
- The ability to effectively prioritize workload
- Flexibility strong teamwork and precision in their work
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written in Dutch and English
- Organizational sensitivity high integrity and the ability to think outside the box
