Head of Group Supply Chain Excellence

Your role

BDRThermeaGroup is building its Group Supply Chain function from the ground up and this role sits at thecentreof that ambition. As Head of Group Supply Chain Excellence you area key strategic partnerto theGroup Supply Chain Director. You translate supply chain strategy into tangibleprogrammes drivestandardisationacross adecentralisedglobalorganisation and help build the operating model that will define how BDRThermearuns its supply chain for years to come.

Together with the team you will shape something new by driving initiatives insupply chain transformationperformance management processharmonisationandchange management. You will connect manufacturing procurement planning and local supply chain teams while building the capabilities and standards BDRThermeaneeds for the future. This is a role with real ownership impact and the opportunity to drive meaningful change across theorganisation

This role is hybrid based in Apeldoorn the Netherlands. You are encouraged to spend at least two days per week in our office.

Your key tasks

• Define and drive the global supply chain strategy translating it into actionable multi-year roadmaps and leading cross-functional transformationprogrammeswith measurable outcomes.

• Drive Business Process Excellence across supply chainstandardisingandharmonisingend-to-end processes defining group policy andestablishinga consistent way of working between group and local teams.

• Build and develop the SC Excellence team: recruit onboard and create a team development roadmap aligned with the transformation phases.

• Develop KPI frameworks and advanced analytics to enable data-driven decision-making andestablishthe governance needed to move from reactive reporting to proactive risk management.

• Lead supply chain workstreams in industrial transfers digital design and deployment and data management ensuring continuity cost efficiency and scalability across theorganisation.

What you bring

• AMasters degree in Supply Chain Management Operations or Business Administration.

• 15 years of experience in supply chain with a strongtrack recordin process improvement and managing complex multi-siteprogrammes.

• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing cross-functional teams and large-scale supply chain initiatives.

• Proven experience drivingstandardisationand change in adecentralisedorganisation shifting mindsets not just processes.

• Experience building a function or team from scratch; you are comfortable with ambiguity andenergisedby the challenge of creatingstructurewhere little exists.

Nice to have

• Professional supply chain certification (e.g.APICS CSCP or CPIM).

• Experience working with S/4HANA or similar ERP platforms in a multi-site rollout context.
