Marketing at DEPT isnt a support function. Its how we define our place in the market. As Global SVP of Marketing youll own DEPTs global brand strategy positioning and market narrative. Youll shape how clients see us how our people rally behind us and how the industry talks about short your job is to make DEPT impossible to ignore.

Youll lead the global brand organisation responsible for positioning communications creative and social while setting the direction regional growth teams build upon across EMEA AMER and APAC.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Own DEPTs global positioning messaging and narrative ensuring one clear story across every market.
• Translate complex technology and AI capabilities into stories clients understand believe and buy.
• Own DEPTs global reputation across clients talent media and partners.
• Lead executive communications and thought leadership partnering closely with the CEO and executive team.
• Build meaningful relationships with media analysts platforms and strategic partners that strengthen DEPTs influence.
• Represent DEPT externally as a recognised voice on AI creativity marketing transformation and the future of growth.
• Set the creative standard for everything DEPT puts into the world.
• Own DEPTs biggest global moments; from product launches and Cannes activations to flagship reports and industry announcements.
• Partner with regional marketing leaders to ensure global strategy translates into commercial impact.
• Work closely with Commercial leadership on major pitches strategic accounts and go-to-market priorities.
• Continuously challenge how marketing operates by embracing AI experimentation and new ways of working.
• Own the global marketing budget making investment decisions based on strategic impact and measurable business outcomes.
• Help shape DEPT itself; bringing perspective beyond marketing into company strategy organisational change and future opportunities.

YOUR PROFILE

• 10 years leading global B2B marketing in a fast-growing technology agency consulting or digital business.
• Proven experience building brands that create commercial advantage; not simply awareness.
• A track record of translating strategy into measurable business growth through positioning reputation and demand generation.
• Experience advising CEOs and executive teams on market positioning communications and reputation.
• Strong commercial instincts; you understand pipeline as well as positioning.
• Exceptional storytelling skills. You know how to simplify complexity without losing credibility.
• Experience leading senior multidisciplinary teams across multiple countries and cultures.
• Youre known for building high-performing teams without creating high-pressure cultures. You set clear direction simplify complexity advocate for your people and bring out the best in those around you.
• Curious about AI technology and the future of marketing with a desire to experiment rather than follow.
• Based in Amsterdam or willing to relocate.
