JOB PURPOSE

Someone has to make them happen. This isnt a traditional internal communications role. If you love newsletters endless approval rounds and corporate speak this probably isnt your thing.

THE ROLE:

Were looking for someone whos equal parts producer project manager and storyteller. Someone with good instincts high standards and enough curiosity (and stubbornness) to turn ambitious ideas into reality.

Youll work across Marketing People and Executive Leadership on global events leadership communications culture initiatives and company-wide moments. Youll have plenty of ownership a lot of freedom and one expectation: help drive a culture people genuinely want to be part of.

This role reports to the Global Head of Marketing and is open to candidates located in and around Amsterdam.

WHAT YOULL DO:

• Lead the planning and delivery of our global internal events leadership meetings and company-wide programmes.
• Own initiatives such as AMAs Town Halls leadership offsites and major internal campaigns.
• Be the driving force behind complex global initiatives involving multiple teams and senior stakeholders.
• Follow up relentlessly remove blockers and make sure nothing quietly slips.
• Bring structure without creating bureaucracy.
• Own global internal communications across multiple channels.
• Partner with Executive Leadership on company updates organisational announcements and strategic messaging.
• Create programmes that strengthen connection recognition and engagement across our global offices.
• Partner with local teams to scale ideas globally while leaving room for local flavour.
• Help protect and evolve what makes DEPT different as we continue to grow.
• Work with Marketing and People to ensure internal culture and external employer brand reinforce each other.
• Turn employee stories into content people actually want to share.
  

WHAT YOU BRING:

• You have around 3-5 years of experience in project management marketing brand events or communications within a fast-paced creative environment.
• Youve probably already taken on responsibilities well beyond your job title.
• Youre the person people trust with the impossible project because you always find a way to get it done.
• You love making things happen. If something needs doing you dont wait; you get started.
• Youre an exceptional organiser who can keep ten moving projects on track without dropping the ball.
• You have outstanding taste. You know when something feels fresh memorable and unmistakably DEPT and when it feels average.
• Youre naturally curious about design brands culture creativity and whats happening in the world and youre always bringing new ideas to the table.
• Youre a strong writer who knows how to communicate clearly authentically and without corporate jargon.
• Youre confident working with senior leaders and arent afraid to challenge ideas or chase a CEO for feedback if thats what it takes to hit a deadline.
• You thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities change opportunities appear overnight and no two weeks are the same.
• Youre collaborative low-ego and happy to roll up your sleeves whether thats producing a leadership event editing a keynote at the last minute or moving chairs five minutes before people walk in.
