We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help us further develop andimplementour digital pension portalsatcustomers. If you enjoy working across both front-end and back-end technologies building scalablesolutionsand contributing to modern digital experiences we would like to meet you.
Key About Your Role
As a Full Stack Software Engineer within a team you develop andmaintainthe digital portals andsupportingservices that pension providers use to interact with employersadvisorsand participants. You work across the full technology stack building intuitive user interfaces while also developing and enhancing the backend services that power them.
Together withSoftwareEngineers Test Engineers DesignEngineersand a Product Owner you take ownership of delivering high-quality functionality from concept to production. Youanalysefunctional requirements translate them into technicalsolutionsand contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
You helpfurthermodernisingour technologylandscape by improving existing applications developing newfeaturesand contributing to architectural and engineering improvements. This includes initiatives suchasmodernisingfront-end componentsenhancing backend services and APIs improving performance and maintainabilityand supporting the migration towards modern technologies and development practices.
You activelyparticipatein technical discussions codereviewsand knowledge sharing. As part of a broader engineering community you continuously look for opportunities to improve both your own skills and our products.
Key About Your Team
The Plexus Digital Engagement (PDE) cluster creates and manages the online portals that pension providers use to interact with employersadvisorsand participants.
We support both long-timecustomers using existing portal solutions and newcustomersadopting our modern PDE platform. Our team combines product expertsengineersand support specialists who work together to deliver andmaintaincustomer portals and ensure they run smoothly and securely.
PDE playsan important rolein helping pension funds and insurers offer clear user-friendly digital services and supportsKeylanesgrowth through new implementations and upgrades. You will work in a collaborative and experienced team where ownershipqualityand continuous improvement are central.
Requirements
- You have at least 35 years of experience in software development within a SaaS or enterprise environment;
- You have experience developing applications usingKotlinand/or Javaand modern frameworks such asMicronaut;
- You have experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably ) TypeScript/JavaScript HTML and CSS;
- You have experience designing and integrating REST APIs;
- You are used to working in Agile/Scrum teams;
- You write cleanmaintainableand well-tested code with a focus on quality and performance;
- You enjoy working acrossdifferent partsof the technology stack and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure;
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes;
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines;
- Knowledge of the pensionsinsuranceor financial services domain.
A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and reference check are part of the application process.
Each employee withinKeylanemust follow training on information security and irrespective to the role basic information security responsibilities apply.
Benefits
- A monthly gross salary between 3.500 and 4.900 based on 40 hours per week.
- 8% holiday allowance of your total gross salary.

- 24 holiday days (with the option to buy extra) and 7 inclusion days which can be exchanged with fixed Dutch national holidays allowing you to take them when you like.
- Flexibility in working environment. As part of a hybrid working team you will work partly from home and partly from the office. If you work in the office a free lunch is waiting for you every day. If you work from home you will receive a working from home allowance ( 4 net per day) and internet allowance ( 35 net per month).
- The possibility of working remotely from abroad for up to 2 months per year.
- The possibility to lease a bike through our bike leasing program.
- A one-year contract that subject to satisfactory performance will be converted into a permanent contract.
