Field Service Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Field Service Technician to strengthen our team in Weert this dynamic role you will form the technical backbone of our customer service operations. You will combine work at our Weert facility with visits to customer locations to ensure optimal performance of our equipment and systems. You will work with advanced technology whilst building strong relationships with our customers delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to keep business operations running smoothly.

• Perform installation maintenance and repair work on specialised equipment at customer sites and our Weert facility
• Conduct thorough troubleshooting and diagnostic analyses to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Assist with final assembly testing and commissioning of customer-specific machines and systems
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers ensuring they understand equipment operation and maintenance procedures
• Document all service activities repairs and maintenance work with precision and attention to detail
• Collaborate with internal teams to communicate customer feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards during on-site service activities
• Travel to customer locations as required remaining flexible and resilient in a dynamic working environment
• Analyse equipment performance data and provide recommendations for optimisation
• Provide support with induction and training of new team members as required

Qualifications :

• Completed MBO level 4 qualification (or equivalent) in mechatronics mechanical engineering or a related technical field
• Demonstrable experience in field service equipment maintenance or technical support roles
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills with the ability to analyse complex technical issues
• Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with a customer-focused approach
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation schematics and manuals
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment
• Flexible approach willingness to travel internationally and ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Problem-solving mindset with a results-driven approach to achieving objectives
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to customer locations
• Demonstrable commitment to adhering to safety regulations and quality standards
• Desirable: Experience in the food and beverage industry manufacturing sector or industrial equipment sector
• Desirable: Familiarity with vertical filling and sealing machines or similar specialised equipment
