A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for manufacturing cleanroom and facility equipment
• Prepare maintenance work by defining the job scope work steps spare parts needed and safety requirements
• Create and follow up on purchase orders service requests and quotations in ERP and procurement systems
• Coordinate external vendors and service providers making sure work is done safely correctly and in line with requirements
• Keep maintenance records up to date in CMMS and other quality systems including PMs calibrations and service reports
• Work with teams such as Engineering EHS Operational Excellence and Production to agree on priorities and complete the work
• Support hands-on maintenance work when needed and help prepare for audits and inspections
• Provide technical support for operations maintenance safety and process improvement
• Carry out routine periodic or special inspections to identify repair and maintenance work needed to prevent breakdowns
• Perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities or on machines and equipment

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience in maintenance within a regulated manufacturing environment (medical devices pharma food or high-tech)
• Proven experience in maintenance planning scheduling and work preparation not just hands-on execution
• Strong understanding of equipment maintenance calibration and facility systems
• Hands-on experience with ERP CMMS and digital documentation systems
• Structured result-oriented and proactive with the ability to work independently prioritize competing demands and influence stakeholders
• Affinity with automation digitization and IT systems using data to improve operational performance
• Dynamic communicator comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization from shopfloor operators to senior leadership
• Good command of the English and German language both spoken and written
• Good digital skills are required
