About the job

This role supports the Director of External Communications and Public Relations in delivering global external communications for two large segments.

At Nouryon we are looking for a talented Communications Manager to help elevate our external communications agenda across Europe the Americas and the Middle East & Africa.

In this highly visible role you will work closely with senior business leaders and become a trusted advisor in shaping how Nouryon is perceived by customers media industry stakeholders and communities around the world.

In your future role as External Communications & Public Relations Manager you will

• Build strong relationships with European trade media and also media in the Americas and MEA based on business needs.
• Develop media outreach strategies for Resource Solutions and Performance Materials segments across Europe Americas and MEA.
• Proactively pitch stories and secure coverage that reinforces Nouryons leadership in specialty chemicals and innovation.
• Monitor media trends and provide counsel to protect and enhance corporate reputation.

We believe you bring

• Bachelors degree in communications Public Relations Journalism or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• (5-10 years) of experience in external communications PR or corporate affairs ideally in B2B or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record in media relations and strategic communications planning.
• Strong understanding of European media landscape
• Excellent writing (AP style) and storytelling skills
