E-Bike Mechanic Amsterdam

In this role you will work exclusively with e-bikes in a modern workshop environment (Amsterdam center) restoring a wide range of models to excellent condition and ensuring consistently high quality standards.

• Managing the entire refurbishment and repair cycle of e-bikes from initial inspection and fault diagnosis to spare parts selection and repair execution

• Acting as a technical authority determining the appropriate scope of repairs based on expertise and quality requirements

• Performing detailed quality controls to ensure all refurbished e-bikes meet high standards before delivery

• Contributing advanced technical knowledge in e-bike hardware and software systems

• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimize repair processes and overall product quality

• Collaborating closely with the workshop team and contributing ideas to improve workflows and efficiency

• Proven experience as an e-bike mechanic bicycle mechanic two-wheel mechanic mechatronics technician automotive mechanic or in a comparable technical field

• Completed vocational training or apprenticeship in a relevant discipline is an advantage; experienced career changers with strong technical expertise are also welcome

• Highly organized precise and comfortable working independently

• Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset

• Good communication skills in English and/or Dutch

• Work on a wide variety of e-bikes including city cargo mountain and speed models across multiple brands and systems
