Design Lead Engineer

As a Design Lead Engineer you contribute to the success of the projects by coordinating and overseeing the entire design engineering process for our projects. You will be part of the Engineering team and ensure that all the activities related to the design of HRSGs are executed successfully.

You work close with the Design Engineers Project Lead Engineer Project Manager Supply Manager and specialists in piping process equipment and instrumentation. You will report to the Head of Project Engineering.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

You will coordinate with internal disciplines such as; Pressure Parts Non-Pressure Parts and Structural Engineers

Responsible for reviewing and discussing design details and challenges with (external) fabricators and other stakeholders

Monitoring the status of all engineering activities in the project and ensuring deadlines are met

Managing external engineering firms often located abroad.

Work on improvement of work processes and technical standards within the design team

Candidate requirements

Bachelors degree preferably in mechanical engineering or any related field

5 years experience in designing industrial installations and coordinating internal and external parties.

Preferably knowledge of CAD systems and design software.

Willingness to travel internationally a few times a year.
