Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure-based data platforms IT Service Management (ITSM) and Configuration Management Systems (CMS). The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining ITSM data objects integrating data from multiple sources and supporting business rule implementation within a modern cloud-based data environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain data integration solutions across multiple data sources.
- Implement ITSM data objects and Configuration Management System (CMS) business rules.
- Utilize Azure-based data services to ensure scalable secure and reliable data solutions.
- Develop and manage Power BI services including dataflows and workspaces.
- Collaborate with business analysts process owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Monitor data quality system performance and process efficiency.
- Optimize data pipelines and integration processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for data solutions and configurations.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services including:
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Data Lake Storage
- Azure DevOps
- Strong knowledge of Databricks.
- Experience with Apache Airflow.
- Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts and processes.
- Experience with data integration ETL and data engineering practices.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements-gathering skills.
