Business Development Manager Accountmanager Buitendienst – Logistics & Packaging

Since 1995 AtMet Group has manufactured cargo securing solutions that keep goods safe at sea on the road and on rail. Our core products are dunnage airbags inflatable bags that fill voids between cargo to prevent movement and lashing systems straps and securing equipment for containers and other transport units.

We manufacture in China and the USA operate a French office (opened in 2021) and hold local stock in France and Rotterdam. The Netherlands and Belgium are our next step and you will lead it.

You will be our first commercial presence in the Benelux with real ownership of the market. You will:

• Win new B2B customers in the Netherlands and Belgium starting with the Rotterdam port area
• Recruit and develop distributors of cargo securing products
• Prospect logistics companies freight forwarders exporters manufacturers and packaging distributors
• Visit customers present our range and run product demonstrations
• Spot high-volume opportunities and new market segments
• Keep your CRM pipeline up to date and report regularly on activity and results
• Represent AtMet at relevant trade shows and industry events

• 3 years of B2B sales experience with a track record of winning new customers (logistics transport packaging or a related sector is a plus)
• Fluent Dutch and English written and spoken
• Autonomous self-organized and comfortable with field prospecting
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Experience with a CRM and Microsoft Office
• Category B driving licence

• Existing network in the Rotterdam port freight forwarding or industrial packaging community
• Knowledge of cargo securing or intermodal transport

• Autonomy: you manage your own schedule and customer visits against clearly agreed targets

• Fixed salary commission: gross/month plus commission on the new business you win
