ABOUT ABBOTT VASCULAR NETHERLANDS (AVN)

Abbott Vascular Netherlands in Heerlen The Netherlands is one of the two Abbott Vascular Tier 1 distribution centers responsible for the worldwide distribution of Abbotts vascular products. From our 10000 m2 warehouse we ship an average of 1950 deliveries per day (>750000 units per month) to hospitals Abbott distributors and Abbott affiliates in Europe Middle East Africa and South America.

We do not only ship international on a global scale also our 200 employees working in the warehouse and office departments come from all over the world. Making us a company of inclusion and diversity. Together as 1 team we make sure that we process customer orders maintain a high service level to ensure that our customers receive the right products on time. Abbott Vascular Netherlands offers a complete and high standard Supply Chain solution including an extensive range of value-add logistics activities such as labeling relabeling and reworking of products to meet country specific needs.

WHAT WILL YOU FOCUS ON DURING YOUR INTERNSHIP

Your assignment as a Business Analyst Intern will be dynamic meaningful and impactful. You will work closely with our Analyst team members on a project that combines data analytics business intelligence data architecture and programming (SQL). The goal is to create a live dashboard with a robust data architecture structure that provides real-time insights into our operations helping us make data driven decisions and improve efficiency.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Are you an active HBO student preferably studying Business Intelligence or Data Science machine learning or a related field then we are looking for you!

Knowledge of SQL/Power BI/ Fabric/ Business Objects is a pre-requisite.
