Bookkeeper

For our fast-growing portfolio of apps we are looking for a structured independent Bookkeeper with a sharp eye for numbers.

Youll work centrally for Relive JOIN REN and Kunu keeping the books in order so the rest of the team can trust the numbers and focus on building.

Youll work closely with our financial analyst and make sure all our bookkeeping flows run smoothly: from invoicing to VAT returns from subscription transactions to monthly reports for our entire portfolio.

This role is 16 hours per week (with the option to increase to 24 hours in the future)

• Month-end close and daily bookkeeping for Relive JOIN REN and Kunu

• Processing purchase invoices sales invoices and payment flows

• Checking subscription transactions from Google Apple Stripe and other payment channels

• VAT ICP & OSS returns

• Cash and bank reconciliations cost allocations and general ledger management

• Preparing year-end work for the external accountant

• Improving financial processes systems and reporting

• Bookkeeping experience in the Netherlands: you know your way around the Belastingdienst BTW returns and Dutch reporting requirements

• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn

• A relevant education in bookkeeping accounting or financial administration

• Accuracy and a strong sense of responsibility

• You speak and write Dutch fluently (C1/C2 level) and have excellent English

• Analytical skills and experience with Excel/ Google Sheets

• Experience with Exact Online is a big plus

Hours and location: 16 hours per week (0.4 FTE). This role lives at our Amsterdam office and we expect you to work from there most of the time. Working from home now and then is fine when it suits your plans. Arkipel as a whole is a mix of remote hybrid and office-based people.

The typical annual compensation for this role ranges from 16000 to 20000 based on 16 hours including 8% holiday allowance. Salary depends on experience and expertise and will be discussed individually.
