Job Summary

As an Azure Platform Engineer you will:

Design and implement cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure.
Build event-driven architectures using Azure Event Grid and related Azure services.
Develop scalable data solutions using Azure Cosmos DB.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Azure Container Apps.
Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM Bicep or Terraform.
Ensure production systems are reliable secure scalable and highly available.
Monitor platform performance optimize cost availability and resilience.
Collaborate with development architecture and DevOps teams to deliver cloud platform capabilities.
Implement governance compliance and cloud security best practices.

What You Bring to the Table:

8 years of experience in cloud platform engineering DevOps or related roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
Expertise in Azure Event Grid Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Container Apps.
Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using ARM Bicep or Terraform.
Strong understanding of microservices and cloud-native architecture.
Experience with Docker containerization and API management.
Knowledge of Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
Solid understanding of high availability scalability fault tolerance and cloud security.
Exposure to Kubernetes (AKS) Azure Service Bus Event Hubs distributed systems or enterprise cloud migration is an added advantage.

You should possess the ability to:

Design scalable resilient and secure cloud-native solutions.
Build and manage event-driven architectures.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
Optimize platform performance cost and operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot complex cloud and containerized environments.
