Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python Shell Scripting Ansible and Azure CI/CD to design develop and maintain infrastructure and application automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong automation-first mindset and experience working with DevOps and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain Ansible playbooks roles and inventories for infrastructure and application automation.
• Implement and manage Git-based workflows including branching strategies version control and CI/CD integration.
• Integrate automation solutions with orchestration and scheduling tools.
• Develop and maintain YAML configurations and Jinja2 templates for scalable and reusable automation.
• Create and enhance Python scripts for automation validation and custom modules.
• Troubleshoot automation failures perform root-cause analysis and optimize performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with DevOps Platform and Infrastructure teams to drive automation best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security operational and governance standards.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Python scripting.
• Experience with Shell Scripting.
• Advanced knowledge of Ansible automation.
• Experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Git-based version control systems and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Rundeck Ansible Tower/AWX or Jenkins.
• Proficiency in YAML and Jinja2 templating.
• Excellent troubleshooting debugging and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Terraform.
• Experience building scalable reusable and maintainable automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
