Learn more at Biologics B.V. part of Johnson & Johnson is setting up a brand-new production facility in Sassenheim where we will produce lentiviral vectors (LVV) used in the treatment of multiple myeloma a disease affecting 160000 patients globally. This is your chance to be part of something new from the very start. We are looking for an Associate Quality Engineer to join us in Sassenheim and help shape this exciting site.

The Quality Engineers are integral members of GMP department which is part of Lentiviral Operations (LVO). The GMP department is crucial in supporting both the Operations (Ops) Centre of Expertise (CoE) and New Product Introduction (NPI) departments particularly regarding GMP compliance (including Annex 1 Training and Quality Risk Assessments) non conformances and change controls. We always adhere to high-quality standards safety and compliance regulations applicable to LVV manufacturing.

As an Associate Quality Engineer you will:

  • Apply functional quality requirements to deliver on organizational objectives and ensure timely compliant completion of quality records.
  • Lead and support nonconformance investigations including creation and follow-through of CAPA records and change controls from initiation to closure.
  • Participate in the review and update of process and product documentation to ensure alignment with regulatory changes investigation outcomes and audit findings
  • Participate in risk mitigation and continuous quality improvement projects and escalate product quality or compliance risks to leaders when needed.
  • Conduct regular Gemba walks to observe and document GMP adherence on the production floor and assist team members with routine and complex administrative tasks.
  • Own your required training meet deadlines and demonstrate professional clear communication and discretion with internal customers.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • MBO-4 diploma with a minimum of 3 years of relevant quality or operations experience.
  • English proficiency at B2 to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office entry-level skills in data analysis and specialist-level experience with business applications used in quality processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset to produce accurate compliant documentation.
  • Proactive organized and decisive with the ability to manage priorities and adapt to changing needs.
  • Collaborative and accountable: builds meaningful stakeholder relationships escalates issues appropriately and follows through on outcomes.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

38300.00 - 61410.00
