What youll do

Sustainability information across the Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) pillars is becoming increasingly important to Nutreco as we work toward our purpose of Feeding the Future in a sustainable way. As a global leader in the animal nutrition and aquafeed industry we have significant opportunities to advance our sustainability ambitions and create lasting impact.

As an Assistant ESG Controller you will play a direct role in supporting and accelerating this journey. As part of Nutrecos Corporate Finance team you will work closely with the Corporate ESG Controller and the CSRD Process Controller during the implementation of CSRD legislation.

In this role you will help strengthen ESG reporting processes and internal controls at a corporate level ensuring the accuracy completeness and reliability of sustainability data across the organization.

Success in this position requires close collaboration with a broad network of stakeholders including location managers OpCo and Business Unit controllers and functional teams such as Procurement Health & Safety and Operations.

You will support the collection validation and quality assurance of ESG data carrying out structured reviews reconciliations and analytical procedures to verify reported information. Working closely with data owners and controllers across the business you will help ensure reporting is complete and accurate while identifying gaps in data availability data quality and reporting processes.

Finally you will also provide practical recommendations and support to stakeholders to address these gaps and continuously improve ESG reporting capabilities across the organization.

This is a temporary assignment of at least three months with both part-time (minimum three days per week) and full-time options available. The role is ideally based in the Netherlands with regular presence in our Amersfoort office preferred although remote working arrangements can be discussed.

  • Minimum of two years relevantexperience ina finance-related( analyst administrator auditor)or financial or business controller role;

  • Analyticalandprecise mindset you are able to recognize relationships between reported information and cancritically assess the reliability of the information;

  • Proactivead motivated mindset you are able to performin peak reporting periods and hesitant to reach out to other data owners and stakeholders;

  • Skills to work with both people and numbers;

  • Fluent communication skills in English both in speaking and writing;

  • Willing to contribute to Nutrecosstrategy on sustainability.

In addition:

  • Temporary rolefor at least three months;

  • Full-time (40 hours) or part-time (minimum of 24 hours)position;

  • Operating within the Corporate Finance Control team with exposure to and collaboration with different corporate departments and stakeholders within Nutreco;
