This IsWhat Your Role Looks Like
As anArchitectural Engineer(Preparation and Development)youllhelp define how every future Basic-Fit club is designed and built.Youllwork on new concepts club layouts technicalstandardsand construction methods while collaborating with colleagues across all Basic-Fit markets in Europe.

As part of the Preparation and Development teamyoullbe responsible forthe technical preparation of new clubs rebuilds acquisitions and concept developments.Youlltransform ideas into practical buildable solutions while ensuring every project meets the Basic-Fit standards for qualityfunctionalityand member experience.
Working closely with Project Managers BIM Engineers ConceptDevelopersand external consultantsyoullhelp create efficientsustainableand future-proof fitness clubs that can be successfully delivered across Europe.
YourResponsibilities
Design & Technical Development
Design and develop efficient club layouts thatmaximizeboth operational performance and member experience.
Translate design concepts into practical and technicallyfeasibleconstruction solutions.
Review architectural and technical drawings for accuracyfeasibilityand compliance with Basic-Fit standards.
Support feasibility studies for new club locations and redevelopment projects.
Advise onconstruction methods building materials finishesacousticsand technical building systems.
Contribute to the development of new club concepts and future design standards.
Standardization& Innovation
Continuously improve andstandardizeconstruction details across all Basic-Fit markets in Europe.
Work closely with BIM Engineers to further develop our BIM standards and digital construction processes.
Helpoptimizeconstruction methods to improve efficiencyqualityand cost control.
Research and introduce innovative materialsproductsand construction techniques.
Support sustainability initiatives byidentifyingsmarter and more sustainable building solutions.
Share technical knowledge and best practices across international teams.
Project Preparation
Coordinate the technical preparation of multiple international construction projects simultaneously.
Support permit applications together with localpartners.
Ensure construction documentation is complete before projects move into execution.
Identifytechnical risks early and develop practical solutions before construction starts.
Collaborate closely with Procurement Construction ProjectManagersand external engineering partners.
Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle whenever.

Successfully prepare multiple projects for execution across different European markets.
Improve existing construction standards and technical details.
Become a trusted technical advisor within the International Construction Department.
Contribute to the further development of BIM and digital construction.
Help shape future Basic-Fit club concepts through innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications& Skills
ABachelors degree in Architecture Architectural Engineering ConstructionManagementora relatedfield.
Approximately 35 years of relevant experience within architectureengineeringor commercial construction.
Experience with technical design constructiondetailingand project preparation.
Knowledge of building regulations andpermittingprocesses.
Experience with BIM RevitAutoCADor comparable design software is considered an advantage.
Strong communicationskills in English. Dutch or another European language is a plus.
A proactive mindset with excellent planning andorganizationalskills.
Willingness to travel occasionally across all Basic-Fit markets in Europe.

Salary:A monthly gross salary between 3.500 and 5.250 based on 40 hours depending on your experience and background.
