AI Technician (mwd)

We are looking for an AI Technician to join an innovative organisation in the aerospace sector based in Leiden. In this role you will be responsible for the assembly integration testing and verification of advanced aerospace systems and test configurations. Working from technical documentation procedures and project requirements you will help ensure products meet the highest quality and performance standards. You will work closely with experienced technicians engineers and quality specialists in a collaborative high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and integration activities for aerospace products and test configurations.
• Carry out technical work independently on flight and non-flight hardware.
• Execute verification and acceptance testing to ensure products meet technical and quality requirements.
• Support the development evaluation and implementation of technical improvements and modifications.
• Prepare and maintain integration documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of integration procedures.
• Design develop and manufacture tooling and support equipment for assembly and integration activities.
• Prepare products for shipment and support logistics activities when required.
• Provide technical support for products during customer site activities when necessary.
• Create documentation for verification and acceptance testing.
• Prepare technical reports and contribute to the resolution of non-conformities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes efficiency and technical performance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering quality and production teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• MBO Level 4 qualification in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Mechatronics Electronics or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in assembly integration testing or production within a high-tech manufacturing or aerospace environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings procedures and engineering documentation.
• Good command of the English language both written and spoken.
• Experience with verification and acceptance testing is an advantage.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours per week).
