Technical Services Manager Luxury Safari Camps Namibia

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager for a collection of luxury safari camps in Namibia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled and hands-on professional with a strong background in maintenance management infrastructure projects and remote lodge operations. The successful candidate will oversee all technical services across multiple camps ensuring facilities utilities and infrastructure are maintained to the highest operational standards.

Requirements

• Relevant technical qualification or trade certification (Electrical Mechanical Plumbing HVAC or related field).
  
• Proven maintenance management experience preferably within hospitality tourism or remote lodge operations.
  
• Strong knowledge of solar power systems generators HVAC systems boreholes pumps water treatment systems and general building maintenance.
  
• Experience managing maintenance teams contractors and infrastructure projects.
  
• Computer literate with strong reporting and administrative skills.
  
• Ability to live and work in a remote off-grid environment.
  
• Valid drivers licence with PDP.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Manage preventative routine and emergency maintenance across camp infrastructure.
  
• Oversee solar power systems generators HVAC units boreholes pumps and water treatment systems.
  
• Lead refurbishment renovation and infrastructure improvement projects.
  
• Manage maintenance tools equipment spare parts and inventory.
  
• Ensure the functionality of VHF radio communication systems.
  
• Maintain roads airstrips fencing and back-of-house facilities.
  
• Lead train and develop the maintenance team.
  
• Ensure compliance with Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards and company procedures.
  
• Work closely with Area Managers on maintenance planning budgeting and capital projects.
