Store Manager

ACDC Express is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our store. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales managing staff overseeing financial performance ensuring operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer service while upholding the ACDC Express brand standards.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong commercial acumen excellent people management skills and a passion for retail and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Store Operations

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and operational standards.
  
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping merchandising and stock control.
  
• Oversee inventory management and operational efficiency.
  
• Assist with sales activities during busy trading periods.
  

Financial Management

• Manage store budgets and monitor financial performance.
  
• Analyse sales and profitability.
  
• Prepare and submit financial and operational reports.
  
• Drive profitability while controlling costs.
  

Sales & Customer Service

• Drive sales performance and achieve store targets.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  
• Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.
  
• Ensure customers receive exceptional service at all times.
  

People Management

• Lead motivate and develop the store team.
  
• Manage staff scheduling and daily performance.
  
• Conduct coaching mentoring and performance management.
  
• Support employee development through ongoing training.
  

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with the Operations Manager and Franchise Service Consultant.
  
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on promotional activities.
  
• Liaise with HR regarding employee-related matters.
  

Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
  
• A qualification in Business Management Retail Management or a related field will be advantageous.
  
• 35 years experience in retail or a related industry.
  
• Minimum 3 years management experience.
  
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Financial and business management experience.
  
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  
• Knowledge of point-of-sale systems (POS) payroll and accounting software is advantageous.
  
• Valid drivers licence and own transport would be advantageous.
  
• Clear criminal and credit record.
