METALLURGY OPERATOR CAT 3 – (B4) GEOLOGY SAMPLING OREX PLANT (. REF81791I) INTERNAL ONLY

The Challenge

To control and supervise the Metallurgical Treatment or Recovery Plant section in accordance with his/her level of training and qualifying in a specific Operator Category (i.e.. Scrubber/Crushing Outside or Inside) to achieve maximum efficient throughput and to minimize delays and losses. 

Qualifications :

The ideal applicant

• Grade 12 or Equivalent National Senior Certificate (20 points over 5 subjects with a E in English Mathematics & Science)
• Code 08/B Drivers License. (Manual Transmission) 
• Qualified Category 3 Operator.
• Experience gained through training and exposure to treatment plant processes at the Plant Operator 1-3 level.
• One year plant experience as a Category 2 Operator.
• Attended DebTech X-Ray machine training will be an advantage.
• Process Controller (acting) will be an advantage.
• Excellent safety awareness and good track record.

• Grade 10 (24 points in 7 subjects with English Mathematics & Science).
• Completed CAT 3 training with 1 year experience at CAT 2 level.
• Code 08 drivers license.
• Conversant in English.
