Executive Chef Luxury Safari Lodge Namibia

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at a luxury safari lodge in Namibia. This senior leadership role requires creativity operational excellence and a commitment to delivering world-class dining experiences in a remote lodge environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all kitchen operations and food production

Create innovative seasonal menus aligned with the lodges luxury guest experience

Manage food costs stock control ordering and kitchen budgets

Ensure the highest standards of food quality presentation hygiene and safety

Lead train and mentor the kitchen brigade

Cater for special dietary requirements and guest preferences

Collaborate with lodge management to enhance the overall guest experience

Maintain consistency in culinary standards across all food offerings

Ensure compliance with all health safety and food handling regulations

Requirements

Formal culinary qualification

Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior culinary leadership role

Previous luxury lodge boutique hotel or fine-dining experience preferred

Strong leadership organisational and communication skills

Proven experience in food costing stock management and kitchen administration

Ability to work effectively in a remote lodge environment

Excellent attention to detail and passion for culinary excellence

Commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
