Position Summary
Motovac Namibia is seeking a reliable customer-oriented and experienced Delivery Driver to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of automotive parts accessories and related products to customers and business partners across Windhoek. The incumbent must demonstrate excellent communication skills a strong sense of urgency and the ability to uphold the companys service standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Deliveries & Logistics:
- Collect and deliver automotive parts accessories and products to customers branches and suppliers within Windhoek and surrounding areas.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately on time and in good condition.
- Obtain proof of delivery (POD) documentation and return signed copies to the office promptly.
- Plan and prioritise daily delivery routes efficiently to maximise productivity and minimise delays.
Customer Service:
- Represent Motovac Namibia professionally at all times maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanour with customers.
- Handle customer queries and concerns at the point of delivery in a calm and professional manner escalating where necessary.
- Ensure a positive customer experience on every delivery interaction.
Vehicle & Equipment Care:
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned motor bike and report any defects or maintenance needs to management immediately.
- Keep the motor bike clean roadworthy and maintained in accordance with company policy.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and the Namibian Road Traffic and Transport Act at all times.
Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries mileage fuel usage and any incidents.
- Manage a delivery schedule and communicate proactively with the dispatcher or supervisor regarding delivery status.
- Report any accidents incidents or customer complaints immediately to the line manager.
Working Conditions
- Field-based role the majority of the working day is spent on the road.
- May be required to work extended hours or Saturdays during peak periods.
- Exposure to outdoor conditions including Windhoeks varying weather.

Qualifications & Licenses
- Grade 10 (NSSCO) or equivalent; Grade 12 preferred.
- Valid Code A1 (motor bike) driving license this is a non-negotiable requirement.
- A clean unendorsed driving record.
Experience
- Minimum 12 years of proven experience in a similar delivery driver role.
- Experience operating a motor bike in an urban environment particularly within Windhoek.
Knowledge & Skills
- Sound knowledge of Windhoek suburbs roads and landmarks.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English; ability to communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Demonstrated customer service ability with a friendly and professional approach.
- Ability to prioritise multiple deliveries and manage time effectively under pressure.
- Basic literacy and numeracy for completing delivery documentation.
