Job Summary
Summary:
The Branch Manager - CBD is a pivotal leadership role within the automotive industry responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a high-traffic urban dealership branch.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all operational aspects of the CBD branch including staffing scheduling performance monitoring and workflow optimization.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Oversee customer service excellence by ensuring all client interactions meet or exceed brand standards and expectations.
- Analyze financial data including P&L statements inventory turnover and margin performance to inform strategic decisions and improve profitability.
- Drive business development initiatives including market expansion lead generation and partnership opportunities.
- Manage branch-level risk and compliance ensuring adherence to automotive industry regulations data privacy laws and internal policies.
- Conduct regular performance reviews provide coaching and foster a culture of accountability development and team engagement.
- Implement digital tools and systems for sales tracking customer relationship management (CRM) and reporting to enhance operational transparency.
- Resolve complex customer and internal issues promptly and effectively demonstrating strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to align branch goals with overarching business objectives and brand initiatives.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Must have Grade 12 or equivalent
- Must have Drivers License
- 5 years of progressive experience in automotive sales operations or branch management within a dealership or franchise environment.
- Proven leadership and people management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in sales and business development with a consistent history of exceeding targets.
- Strong analytical and financial data management skills including experience with P&L oversight and performance reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers staff and senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional time management and organisational abilities capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer and digital tools including CRM platforms Microsoft Office Suite and automotive-specific management software.
- In-depth understanding of risk and compliance frameworks relevant to the automotive industry including regulatory standards and data security protocols.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to meet business demands in a CBD location.
