Job Summary

JOB PURPOSE

The Trade Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing trade marketing plans and campaigns to drive sales and promote the companys products and brands in the Morocco market. This includes working with retailers wholesalers and distributors to marketing strategies promotions and events. The Trade Marketing Coordinator also plays a key role in managing the companys trade budget and ensuring that trade marketing campaigns are aligned with the overall sales and marketing strategy.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Channel Customer Marketing strategies aligned with brand planning deliver PRAs commercial goals

  • Contribute to development of Customer Marketing strategies
  • Implement parts of Customer Marketing strategies
  • Assist in Evaluation of Customer Marketing strategies

Productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders maintained

  • Coordinate with sales operations and finance

Finance budget managed effectively

  • Manage costs against approved budget

Regional events and promotions raise the profile of key brands

  • Plan regional events
  • Oversee the execution of regional events
  • Conduct post-event analysis with Area Manager

Administrative duties

  • Draw up event/promotion-specific briefs and budgets.
  • Manage and update a POS database and stock control General supervision of the marketing store.
  • Compile facilitate processing and filing of pre and post-event documents e.g. quotations buyer requisitions LPOs deliveries invoices etc.
  • Ensure cordial relationships with service providers / suppliers

OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Leverage sell-out data to generate actionable business insights and support decision-making
  • Analyze inventory levels to identify risks and uncover growth opportunities
  • Develop promotional strategies and evaluate their effectiveness to maximize ROI
  • Define implement and monitor pricing strategies and trade agreements
  • Lead forecasting activities and actively contribute to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
  • Ensure strong cross-functional coordination between Finance and Sales teams
  • Support the successful launch of new products and drive innovation initiatives
  • Build and maintain robust market intelligence (sell-out data IWSR insights and other relevant sources)
  • Monitor and optimize A&P (Advertising & Promotion) investments to ensure efficiency and impact

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree (Business school marketing economics management degree etc.)
  • Proficiency in Arabic French and English
  • 3 years of experience in Marketing preferably in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector
  • Ideally from a multinational environment or a large-scale organization
  • Results-driven with a strong appetite for challenges
  • Strong sense of urgency and prioritization proactive and detail-oriented
  • Based in Casablanca
  • Must have a drivers license
  • Willingness and ability to work in the evenings nights and weekends when necessary
