Senior Business Central Functional Consultant

Purpose Statement

Were looking for a customer-focused Business Central Functional Consultant who thrives on solving business challenges and building trusted client relationships. Youll combine strong functional expertise with a consultative approach helping clients optimise their Business Central solutions while supporting ongoing service delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

Youll be comfortable working across multiple client accounts balancing support advisory and enhancement activities and will be excited by the opportunity to leverage innovative technologies methodologies and proprietary accelerators to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Position Overview

This is a full-time permanent position based in Morocco operating on a hybrid working model with 23 days per week in the office. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm.

Reporting to the relevant Global Managed Services Team Manager and working closely with Service Managers Technical Consultants Solution Architects and other functional specialists to support effective client service delivery.

This role will operate across Global Managed Services engagements supporting live client environments across multiple accounts simultaneously. Works within global delivery model and is expected to contribute to and adopt AI-enabled delivery standards as they evolve.

Areas of Responsibility

• Provide functional consulting expertise across the full managed services lifecycle including incident resolution requirements gathering solution design configuration testing deployment and post-go-live support.
• Support and deliver change requests system enhancements and consultancy engagements for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central clients.
• Lead client workshops discovery sessions solution reviews process improvement discussions and user acceptance testing activities.
• Analyse business processes and requirements recommending practical solutions that align with client objectives platform capabilities and best practice.
• Scope estimate and support the delivery of functional change requests and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Produce high-quality functional documentation including business requirements functional design documents test scripts and knowledge base articles.
• Leverage AI-assisted delivery tools and methodologies to improve efficiency quality and client outcomes while applying appropriate judgement and governance.
• Apply and contribute to proprietary solutions accelerators and intellectual property (IP) that enhance delivery capability and client value.
• Collaborate closely with technical consultants solution architects and project teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Mentor and support junior consultants through knowledge sharing coaching and peer reviews.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Strong experience as a Functional Consultant specialising in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV).
• Excellent knowledge across multiple Business Central modules including Finance AP/AR Fixed Assets Banking Purchasing Inventory and Manufacturing.
• Proven experience working within Managed Services Application Support or Consultancy environments.
• Strong business process analysis and requirements gathering skills.
• Ability to assess design and configure Business Central solutions that deliver tangible business outcomes.
• Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong documentation skills including functional specifications process documentation and testing artefacts.
• Excellent problem-solving analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Understanding of service management and ITIL-aligned practices including incident problem and change management.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused language.

Desirable

• Experience with LS Retail.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications.
• Experience working with AI-enabled delivery methodologies automation tools or agentic workflow solutions.
• Familiarity with consulting frameworks delivery methodologies and reusable IP/accelerators.
• Experience supporting junior consultants and contributing to capability development.
• Broad business process knowledge across finance supply chain manufacturing warehousing and service operations.
