Sales Specialist Trainee

GE Vernova is hiring a Sales Specialist Trainee accountable for the Air and Gas Insulated Substations (AIS and GIS) order intake margin and cash for Morocco within Middle East and Africa (MEA) Region. The role will help and support to drive customer relationship and commercial strategy for AIS and GIS especially in Morocco and reports to the GIS Sales Manager.

This is an early career individual contributor and will support growth in transmission and industry segments as a Sales Specialist Trainee.

What will you do:

• Opportunity Support:Assist in early-stage project detection and monitor the FEED (Front End Engineering Design) stage of potential projects.
• Tendering Assistance:Support the senior sales team in preparing quotations organizing tender documentation and tracking progress.
• Commercial Documentation:Help build value propositions and assist in the compilation of product qualification/homologation documents and techno-commercial offers under the guidance of the Product Line (PL) tendering team.
• Customer Engagement:Accompany senior team members to customer meetings to learn the art of customer intimacy relationship building and contract clarification.
• Market Research:Conduct basic market assessment tasks and competitor analysis to help the team define Commercial Action Plans.
• Internal Collaboration:Assist in the hand-over process between Sales and Project Execution teams to ensure seamless project transition.

What will you bring:

• Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Fresh graduate or max 2 years of experience in related field.
• Strong academic record with a demonstrated interest in the Energy/Power sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word).
• High proficiency in English and French; Arabic native language is mandatory.
• Ability to travel when necessary within Morocco and MEA region.
