Job Description
As a Cost & Price Engineer you will be responsible for preparing cost and price calculations for engineering design change requests in existing projects as well as financial data for both advanced and awarded programs. As part of the Cost & Price team you will also support global new business opportunities and contribute to the companys growth strategy
Responsibilities
Your work will include but not be limited to:
- Implementing engineering changes and ECR quotations at both cost and price levels.
- Developing and implementing automation tools to streamline cost and pricing workflows.
- Coordinating with the central engineering team for change request submissions.
- Focusing on maximizing and improving OI for each engineering change.
- Building dashboards and data models to improve visibility and decision-making
- Tracking costs prices margins materials labor etc.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Purchasing Operations PM ER&D Quality Plant teams and Logistics.
- Communicating with sales for pricing strategy.
- Supporting management decisions by providing strategic analysis.
- Analyze manufacturing labor time at both levels (Mfg commercial)
Requirements
- Engineer Bac 5 masters degree in industrial engineering or financial business.
- Leadership skills and a confident demeanor when dealing with senior management.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Self-organized structured/methodical proactive.
- Ability to work in multi-functional areas and overcome barriers.
- Knowledge of key Microsoft applications such as Excel Outlook PowerPoint Power BI.
- Knowledge of programming and data tools such as Python PySpark SQL Power Query and VBA.
- Experience in data automation data processing and building analytical tools.
- Ability to leverage coding for process optimization reporting automation and advanced data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French; Spanish is a plus.
