Job Summary

Description

Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving storage picking packing and shipping operations.
  • Ensure timely delivery of raw materials components and finished goods to support production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Monitor warehouse workflow and allocate resources to meet operational objectives.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse procedures processes and best practices.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts audits and reconciliation activities.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and FIFO/FEFO methodologies where applicable.

Team Leadership

  • Lead coach develop and evaluate warehouse personnel including supervisors leads and warehouse associates.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Coordinate staffing requirements scheduling and workload balancing.
  • Promote employee engagement teamwork and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications Education

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration Industrial Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience

  • 58 years of warehouse logistics or materials management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP Oracle JDE Microsoft Dynamics or similar).
  • Experience supporting manufacturing production operations.

Technical Skills

  • Strong inventory control and material flow management knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
  • Experience with barcode scanning systems and warehouse automation technologies.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.

Leadership Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capability.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
