About the Role
This is a temporary 6-month position supporting the North America HVAC Sales Compensation Administration team. The Total Rewards Specialist will play a critical role in administering and executing sales incentive compensation processes ensuring accurate and timely commission payments for employees across the business. This role requires a highly analytical professional with exceptional attention to detail advanced Excel skills and the ability to manage confidential compensation data while collaborating with HR Payroll Finance and Sales Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
As a Total Rewards Specialist youll be responsible for:
Supporting monthly and quarterly sales incentive compensation cycles.
Administering compensation programs and supporting the maintenance of participant and plan data within compensation systems.
Preparing validating reconciling and processing commission and incentive calculation files.
Reviewing compensation data and payout calculations to ensure accuracy before payroll submission.
Completing quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintaining and overseeing compensation-related data reporting documentation and audit controls.
Addressing inquiries from employees HR professionals and business leaders regarding compensation program operations.
Partnering with HR Payroll Finance Sales Operations and other stakeholders to resolve issues and support compensation processes.
Managing deadlines approvals manual adjustments exceptions and prorated payments.
Supporting compliance governance confidentiality and process documentation requirements.
Escalating issues as needed and helping ensure smooth delivery of Total Rewards programs.
Partnering with external vendors when applicable to support effective program administration.
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:
University Degree in Finance Accounting Human Resources Business Administration Economics or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Advanced Excel skills including formulas Pivot Tables lookups data validation and management of large datasets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends discrepancies and data issues.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Experience handling highly confidential compensation payroll or employee data.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities recurring deadlines approvals and audit requirements.
Self-starter mindset with strong ownership accountability and follow-through.
Ability to learn complex processes and operate effectively in a highly data-driven environment.
Practical knowledge of Compensation Payroll HR Operations Finance Operations or related business functions.
Advanced English proficiency
Although not necessary it would be nice if you have:
Experience in Sales Compensation Incentive Compensation Commission Administration or Total Rewards.
Experience using Workday Varicent or other compensation management systems.
Experience supporting payroll submissions compensation calculations or incentive programs.
Knowledge of audit controls compliance processes and compensation governance.
Experience partnering with vendors and supporting compensation-related projects.
Advanced degree in a related field.
