Supplier Delivery Optimization EMS
Job Summary
Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Monitor and analyze global supplier delivery trends with a strong focus on On-Time Delivery performance.
- Drive improvements in delivery reliability across strategic suppliers including major partners.
- Identify risks gaps and inefficiencies in supply chain performance and proactively implement solutions.
- Utilize data analytics (including sourcing tools such as OLTD) to evaluate supplier performance.
- Translate complex datasets into clear insights and actionable strategies.
- Detect atypical cases or deviations and provide root cause analysis and resolution.
- Support sourcing and supplier leaders in commercial negotiations providing analytical insights and data-backed recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to address escalations and improve supplier accountability.
- Build and maintain strong commercial and operational relationships with suppliers.
- Lead delivery-related escalations and prepare structured documentation and recovery packages.
- Analyze trends to support cost recovery initiatives (i.e. payback mechanisms from suppliers when performance fails).
- Ensure timely resolution of supply disruptions.
- Oversee contract manufacturers responsible for electronic assemblies (MR MICT categories).
- Ensure alignment between sourcing strategies and operational delivery expectations.
- Contribute to additional strategic and operational projects within supplier management and sourcing.
- Support global initiatives to improve supplier performance and supply chain resilience.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- Proven experience in:
- Supplier delivery performance management
- Sourcing or procurement
- Supplier quality and commercial relationships
- Strong exposure to contract manufacturing environments (electronics preferred).
- Experience working with global suppliers across multiple regions (China Europe Mexico India).
- Proficient English level.
- Advanced data analytics and ability to manage large datasets.
- Familiarity with sourcing tools and KPIs (especially On-Time Delivery OTD/OLTD).
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.
