• Support daily CNC manufacturing operations and troubleshoot production issues.
• Assist with automation and robotics projects for CNC machining cells.
• Monitor machine performance cycle times downtime and OEE metrics.
• Support PLC HMI sensor and machine communication troubleshooting activities.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support process validation first article inspections and quality improvement activities.
• Participate in equipment commissioning testing and startup activities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with Production Quality Maintenance Robotics and Manufacturing Engineering teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics Engineering Electrical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Automation Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of CNC machining processes and manufacturing systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs robotics sensors and industrial automation concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is preferred.
• Internship co-op laboratory or project experience in manufacturing or automation is a plus.
