Reporting to CI-Coordinator this position will develop Lean culture and drive teams using lean tools to meet goals and objectives that have a positive impact on the Company. Lead Kaizen events in administrative and production areas and lead improvement and cost-saving projects.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead high-impact projects from initiation to closure applying best practices in scope schedule and risk management.
2. Support the Project Portfolio ensuring prioritization and alignment with business objectives.
3. Facilitates Kohler training programs Kaizen events and other Kohler initiatives.
4. Educates employees on Kohler Systems tools and techniques helping to form a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
5. Identifies and leverages best practices within the local site. Documents lessons learned and incorporated it into local sites as appropriate.
6. Monitor Ideas Program to ensure timely and proper documentation.
7. Conduct Kaizen events focused on metrics that impact Goals.
8. Lead Value Stream Maps (VSM) activities and track action plan.
9. Analyze OEE and collaborate with support teams to track results and action item.
10. Develop Root cause Analysis to solve problems.
11. Perform OBC pillar chart analysis to drive productivity projects.
12. Conduct Gemba walks to identify opportunities.
13. Manages Kohler systems and tools to improve business performance.
14. Coordinates and synchronizes site level Kohler goals and initiatives. Provides documentation of results and benefits achieved.
15. Responsible for the oversight development training implementing and sustaining of the plants Lean Culture including 5S Visual Controls Standard Work and Kaizen systems.

Organization Relationships: 1. Frequent contact with all Departments of Kohler Reynosa and Managers
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and skills is valid. However we prefer the following:
Education: Bachelors degree in industrial engineering or related field.
Work experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with OPEX (Operation Excelence) and leading continuous improvement projects (Lean TPM Six Sigma).
Proficiency in Microsoft office.
Competencies: Analytic thinking quality system knowledge Lean tools knowledge.
Skills: Problem solving communication lean techniques leadership.
Language: English.
