About the job

Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Senior Credit and Collection Analyst to join our Accounting team in Mexico. The role will work within the entire Order to Cash cycle and focus on day- to-day duties including collections accounting customer account reconciliation and related bad debt analysis. This position will help support Twilios growth efforts globally.

Responsibilities

In this role youll:

• Contact clients and discuss their overdue payments.
• Contact clients and discuss their overdue payment and negotiate with them
• Responding to customer queries.
• You will be responsible for achieving monthly cash targets whilst ensuring effective customer satisfaction.
• Identify key areas for change or improvement.
• Commitment to nurturing and enhancing Twilios unique culture with a focus on continuous improvement through the application of your skills and expertise.

*Required:

• Minimum of 3 years of global Collections experience in US/LATAM.
• Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and shifting between the details and the big picture.
• Strong data analysis and reconciliations experience and comfortability with working with targets and goals.
• Experience in reduction of DSO 30 60 90 and 3rd parties players.
• Advanced Excel user level: ability to handle very large raw data sets using pivots and other functions such as VLOOKUPS.
• Prioritization of customer service is key for this role so having strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills is a must.
• Demonstrated problem-solving process improvements automation and cross functional collaboration skills.
• E-invoicing experience for Mexico and knowledge of the local legal and compliance regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Desired:

• Third level qualification in Accounting Finance or Business related discipline - or- relevant experience
• NORAM collections experience is a plus.

Location

This role will be remote and based in Mexico City.

Travel

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role you may be required to travel occasionally to participate in project or team in-person meetings.
