Job Summary
When patients call a medical office theyre not usually calling because theyre having a great day. They may be trying to schedule an appointment theyve been waiting for looking for answers about a referral or simply trying to figure out where to go next. Your role is to make that process easy.
As a Scheduling Receptionist youll be the first point of contact for patients. Youll help them schedule appointments answer questions update information and connect them with the right resources. Every conversation is an opportunity to create a positive experience and help patients feel supported from the very first call.
No healthcare experience Thats okay. If youre organized confident on the phone and enjoy helping people well teach you the rest.
- Answer incoming patient calls with professionalism and empathy
- Schedule appointments across multiple clinic locations
- Help patients find the right provider location or service for their needs
- Triage calls efficiently and ensure patients are directed appropriately
- Answer questions clearly and confidently while providing an exceptional customer experience
- Collect and update patient information accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Assist with incoming patient referrals and related documentation
- Maintain accurate records while following established procedures
- Support patients throughout the scheduling process and help remove barriers to care
- Contribute as a reliable teammate in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- At least 6 months of customer service experience
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher)
- Strong verbal communication skills and confidence on the phone
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Healthcare medical office or subscription-based support experience is a plus
- Ability to work on-site in Guadalajara
- $16500 MXN gross monthly salary
