Mission of the role:
ensure the proper coordination and supervision of accounting and tax compliance activities achieving their timely presentation and with high quality; likewise he/she will be a person who can anticipate issues to report them on time so that we can resolve them. This person will be responsible of R2R teams in FinOps.

Your impact:
As Record to Report GBS Manager you will directly contribute to the objectives of the area by participating in key activities such as:

  • Supervise review and ensure that the figures for the month-end closing are recorded on time and with the required quality; for this the person is expected to create control reports that allow errors to be quickly identified and corrected.
  • Ensure that the accountants under their charge have the main accounts reconciled as well as intercompany operations.
  • Facilitate and collaborate so that teams provide the required information on time maintaining communication with different areas.
  • Supervise review and ensure that the tax figures for each month are determined and presented correctly. Good coordination with the Tax Manager to ensure that figures are accurate.
  • Lead internal/external audits coordinating and ensuring the compliance of information generating synergies among team members.
  • Ensuring that the expected service to the business units is met always adding value to the activities whether by reducing times automating or creating reports thatgenerate value.
  • Collaborate in the proper planning of activities so that we can collectively generate worklife quality in the different work teams without losing the quality of the information.
  • Manage a team that provide accounting services to different countries and be an active partner in the implementation of several projects at the same time.

Requirements:

  • Public Accountant Bachelor Degree required.
  • Solid knowledge of Tax IFRS Cash Flow financial analysis reporting to headquarters derivatives management capitalizations impairment experience in multinational companies.
  • Strong domain of ERPs.
  • Advanced English level.
  • 10 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or leading major projects in large companies. At least 8 years of experience in similar position.
