Quality Control Inspector Textiles Garments

As a Quality Control Inspector youll be reporting to an Operations Manager and working as a part of our Operations team. At QIMA the role of Operations is to deliver our industry-leading services to our clients while ensuring that all the work is performed to the QIMA standard of quality. Your role in this will be to:

• Perform the inspection of the merchandise according with company procedures. Supervise the stuffing of the containers according with company procedures;
• Fulfill inspection reports according with company procedures and time lines.
• Checking seams and stitching quality.
• Inspecting labels trims and overall finishing.
• Reviewing one garment approximately every 60 seconds.
• Taking measurements to verify sizing accuracy.
• Evaluating the overall garment construction quality.

Think you have what it takes First of all we want someone with:

• Experience in quality management especially softlines/ garments/ textiles/ footwear (2 years or more);
• A valid visa to travel to the United States.
• Availability and willingness to work in the U.S. for one month.
• Knowledge of AQL standards as well as relevant safety and quality regulations;
• Good command of English (spoken and written);
• Great attention to detail and strong professional ethics.
