Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer who will lead quality assurance compliance audit and continuous improvement activities across manufacturing operations. The role is responsible for driving compliance with international quality standards managing customer and supplier quality performance leading risk assessment and mitigation initiatives and ensuring effective implementation of quality management processes and systems.

In this role you will be an individual contributor with significant cross-functional influence partnering with production engineering supply management and quality teams to strengthen operational excellence regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in developing robust quality systems driving permanent resolution of nonconformities and ensuring adherence to customer statutory and certification requirements.

The position is based in Cuautitlan Izcalli Mexico.

What you will do

As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will:

  • Lead internal and external audits certification activities and SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) compliance assessments.
  • Drive quality management system compliance ensuring adherence to customer regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Lead risk assessments continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions to improve quality performance and reduce operational losses.
  • Develop and monitor Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) parameters quality indicators and process performance metrics.
  • Drive resolution of internal nonconformities and customer complaints through root cause analysis corrective actions and process standardization.
  • Collaborate with Production Engineering Industrial Engineering Supply Management and Supplier Quality teams to improve customer and supplier quality performance.
  • Perform Hygienic Risk Assessments (HRA) and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and directives.
  • Act as the key user and business expert for SAP QM (Quality Management) including inspection planning Dynamic Modification Rules (DMR) and quality workflows.
  • Support quality awareness training programs and a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
We believe you have

  • Degree in Industrial Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Auditor qualification and knowledge of ISO-based management systems and certification processes.
  • Experience leading audits compliance activities risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools root cause analysis process control and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience managing customer complaints nonconformities and supplier quality performance.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry quality standards.
  • SAP QM (Quality Management) knowledge including quality processes and inspection planning.
  • Strong analytical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
