Job Summary

At Tetra Pak we help make food safe and available everywhere. Through food processing packaging and services solutions we support customers around the world while staying true to our purpose:Protects Whats Good.
As a Project Manager you will play a key role in designing and implementing industrial production lines for the food industry. You will manage projects from planning through execution oversee system quotations and take ownership of delivering successful project outcomes for our customers.
Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders including Account Managers and Project Engineering teams you will contribute to customer satisfaction operational excellence and business performance through the successful delivery of complex technical projects.
This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging industrial solutions collaborate with regional and global teams and further develop your project management expertise including the possibility of obtaining Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
You will be based in Cuautitlán or Polanco Estado de México Mexico.
You may be required to travel to customer sites up to 20% of your time regionally and globally.

What you will do

As a Project Manager you will:
  • Ensure effective project quality control risk management resource allocation and financial oversight to achieve customer satisfaction and support business profitability;
  • Be responsible for preparing quotations for Processing and Packaging Solutions in collaboration with Account Managers Project Engineering teams and other cross-functional stakeholders;
  • Lead the implementation of sold equipment and industrial production line projects from planning through execution ensuring solutions are delivered safely efficiently and in line with customer expectations;
  • Manage project risks across technical financial procurement legal and commercial areas;
  • Provide issue resolution and coordinate actions to support successful project delivery;
  • Manage project resources and provide performance feedback to senior management;
  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders building strong partnerships across functions and cultures to support project success;
  • Participate in project review board meetings and contribute to project governance and decision-making;
  • Contribute to delivering value for customers through effective project execution and a strong focus on quality timelines and business outcomes;
  • Take advantage of professional development opportunities including training and certification toward Project Management Professional (PMP) to further strengthen your project management expertise.

We believe you have

  • A bachelors degree in Industrial Electrical Mechanical Chemical Food Science or a related engineering field or equivalent practical experience;
  • Fluency in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate effectively in a business environment;
  • Solid experience leading and managing projects using Project Management Institute (PMI) methodologies including project planning budget control schedule management risk management procurement and contingency planning;
  • Strong knowledge of industrial production line implementation equipment commissioning and industrial equipment upgrade projects;
  • Experience working in the food and/or pharmaceutical industry operating in environments with high sanitary regulatory and process quality standards;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and AutoCAD;
  • Strong communication stakeholder management and customer-focused skills with the ability to build effective partnerships and balance technical commercial and operational priorities across functions cultures and business environments;
  • Adaptability resilience and the ability to perform effectively under time constraints while managing multiple priorities.
