ABOUT THE ROLE
At Hills Pet Nutrition we are on a mission to transform the lives of pets through groundbreaking nutrition. As a Professional Consultant Veterinary (PCV) you will be a key member of our Professional & Veterinary Affairs team serving as the trusted face of Hills to the veterinary community!
In this highly influential role you will lead an integrated strategy to deepen our engagement with key veterinary clinics colleges students and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). Youll combine your passion for science and care to build strong partnerships deliver high-quality educational programs and champion our commitment to pet health. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Professional Engagement: Deliver high-touch support technical product detailing in-clinic seminars and merchandising guidance to veterinary clinics and pet retail partners.
Cultivate KOL Partnerships: Map prioritize and build lasting relationships with Key Opinion Leaders across key focus areas including clinical nutrition feline medicine dermatology gastrointestinal urinary renal and weight management.
Deliver Scientific & Technical Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert advising key accounts on product selection and providing advanced scientific knowledge to support in-practice healthcare teams.
Leverage Digital & In-Person Learning: Utilize Hills digital platforms and regional event strategies to deliver tailored education continuous skill development and product innovation training.
Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate closely with Marketing Professional & Veterinary Affairs (PVA) and Commercial Operations to create customized business and technical proposals for corporate groups and key accounts.
Monitor Market Trends: Stay ahead of industry insights competitive dynamics and clinical advances to help Hills maintain its leadership in pet clinical nutrition.
Ensure Operational Excellence: Manage multiple projects organize regional activities and maintain full compliance with company policies and standards.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Completed bachelors degree.
Current veterinary license with strong clinical competency.
3 years of experience in small animal clinical practice or the pet/veterinary industry.
Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
Willingness to travel up to 20% and maintain an active field presence (up to 80%).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Postgraduate degree or specialized training in feline medicine gastroenterology dermatology or clinical nutrition.
Proven track record of building cross-functional relationships with clients veterinarians and commercial teams.
Strong digital capabilities and experience using online education platforms.
Excellent presentation negotiation and project management skills.
