The Molding Production Planner is the person who schedules and allocates production orders based in our customer needs and improving operations efficiency.

Molding Production Planning is a key position of the company involved on daily execution and tactical/strategy activities where problem solving and analytical skills are crucial accountable of give balance to a cost reduction and customer service driven company with a global perspective.
Core responsibilities:
- Convert planned orders into production orders managing the inventory coverage while minimizing the change overs.
- Ensure the production plan is posted in ERP/MRP system and keep it updated.
- Monitor changes in materials requirements and production orders and act accordingly.
- Ensure the desired utilization of the job centers (machines & moulds) given into personal MRP versus the demand following the Tactical and MPS processes analyzing the future situation in a timely manner and act accordingly for keeping it in this way.
Do you have what it takes
- Production scheduling of a manufacturing plant with capacity limitations in equipment or material
- Inventory analysis experiences
- Supply chain production control and logistics experiences
- Continuous improvement and problem-solving methodology and tools
- Knowledge of modern ERP system (SAP JD Edwards Oracle etc.).
- Advance MS Excel macros and MS Access expertise is a plus.
- Basic understanding of a manufacturing organization and the relationship between its departments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for a successful engagement with partners and customers.
- Attentiveness to details responsibility and team work is a must
- Fluent in English.

Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores NL This is not a remote position
