The Procurement Manager Specialist oversees supplier relationships develops category strategies manages procurement processes and is responsible for indirect services such as transportation recruitment amongst other general services ensuring alignment with Global Procurement Policies and the LEGO Group framework.

Core Responsibilities

  • Category Management: Develop sourcing plans aligned with organizational objectives managing high-risk high-spend supplier relationships to deliver value within global frameworks.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Design and execute sourcing strategies by analyzing market trends and supplier capabilities to optimize value and reduce risk.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Establish strategic partnerships with key suppliers driving collaboration and continuous improvement through performance reviews and development initiatives.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead complex negotiations and manage the contract lifecycle to secure optimal terms mitigate risk and maximize business benefits.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks developing contingency plans to ensure operational resilience and continuity.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Align cross-functional partners with procurement strategies ensuring support for business goals and tracking progress through KPIs.

Do you have what it takes

  • Industrial Engineering International Commerce degree or equivalent with strong experience within Procurement processes specially on Indirect Categories.
  • General understanding of the supply chain within manufacturing environment with experience participating in projects impacting the organization within Supply Chain and productivity areas.
  • Strong analytical negotiation communication and stakeholder management skills; APICS certification a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel SAP (Coupa a plus).
  • Advanced communication skills both in English and Spanish verbally and in writing and comfortable in presenting complex ideas.
