Process Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer join Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics. When you join the Sandalwood team youll join an engaging and inclusive group with a mission to help our customers identify assess and reduce work-related risks to quality productivity and employee health.

This individual will be responsible for the process design operation and implementation of tasks for the client that they will support. The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency reduce cost improve sustainability and maximize profitability.

In your day to day activities youll have the opportunity to work with multiple customers as a consultant and trusted partner in Sandalwoods areas of expertise of Injury Prevention Systems Engineering & Systems Integration. Youll help customers innovate solve their current struggles and guide them with the power of Sandalwoods deeply ingrained subject matter expertise.

• Develop configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification
• Assess processes take measurements and interpret data
• Design run test and upgrade systems and processes
• Develop best practices routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
• Provide process documentation and operating instructions

• 1 Years Experience in manufacturing
• Automotive customer portals knowledge
• Experience in Automotive industry company
• English Advance fluent written and spoken technical English
• Strong knowledge on problem resolution techniques in the automotive industry (5Whys 8D PDCA DMAIC etc.
• Basic knowledge on PPAP processes
• Organizational and planning skills
• Strong communication skills to interact with different level of members within the organization
• Teamwork proactive with sense of urgency & customer service attitude to drive customer satisfaction (internal & external)
• Working under pressure and time availability
• Strong negotiation skills to drive timing targets
• The ability to report project status accurately and in timely fashion to manager level management

Tasks assigned / Work priorities:

• Meet Program Deliverables on time and schedule
• Provide regular (daily weekly etc.) Tracking Status to the designated Team Leader
• Attend designated meetings to provide status reports
• Capture and register for all tryouts runoffs and quality impacts for the project implementations and engineering updates/upgrades.
• Manage within master timing charts with corrective actions and recovery plans identified where needed.
• Support to the production line for all tryouts runs and installation periods.
• Shipping process for machine tryout parts to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
• Flexibility to work overtime and on weekends.

• Accomplish the department objectives addressed by the client using problem solving technique.
